This is our 20th year running programmes in Canterbury. In partnership with Environment Canterbury, the Whaka-ora Healthy Harbour partnership and Rātā Foundation, we are excited to embark on our first Whakaraupō Moana Programme.

Our programmes’ purpose is to enable young people to explore and understand the complexity of issues within the natural environment, aligning with the kaupapa of Untouched World that established the Foundation. Whakaraupō Moana participants, with support from Ngāti Wheke, will be exposed to, and interact with, all players; from mana whenua, governance, commercial, environmental and those that call Whakaraupō home.
The Whakaraupō Moana Canterbury programme will run Sunday May 12th to Friday 17th 2024, and will have a moana/ocean theme. This programme is now full and registrations have closed.
More programmes will be open for registration later in the year.
