Employment and Volunteering Opportunities
At the Untouched World Foundation, we’re lucky to work alongside passionate people who care deeply about sustainability, youth development, and positive change. We offer a variety of volunteering opportunities on our Canterbury-based programmes, and from time to time we also have paid positions — like our current Cora Wilding Graduate Residency.
While we welcome interest in our work, we’re only able to consider applications for advertised roles. We can’t accept unsolicited job applications outside of these.
Please note: this page is for opportunities with the Untouched World Foundation (the charitable trust). If you are looking for roles with the Untouched World fashion brand or retail stores, you’re in the wrong place — please visit the Untouched World fashion brand website for information about careers with the brand.
Volunteer on our Programmes
If you would like to volunteer on our programmes we often have openings for cooks and kitchen hands. Practical kitchen skills would be helpful to work alongside our lead ringawera / cook. Our course participants help so it’s work, but it’s sociable and enjoyable.
Email volunteer@uwf.org.nz to register your interest.
Cora Wilding Resident
The Cora Wilding Residency is a 12 month paid position within the Untouched World Foundation that supports emerging leaders to take an active role in shaping the future of youth development and environmental education in Aotearoa.
The Resident works closely with the Untouched World Foundation team to contribute to the design, development and delivery of programmes, bringing fresh perspectives and lived experience into the work we do with rangatahi. This role offers a unique opportunity for a young leader to deepen their skills in facilitation, programme development and community engagement while contributing meaningfully to the Foundation’s mission.
Our 2026/2027 residency if open for applications now. Interviews will take place during July for a start time between August and September. If you are interested but cannot start until later (up to January 2027) you may still apply.
